With unwelcome decorations of anxiety and fear
Tables laid with loneliness uncertainty and tears

I want to see the faces behind the masks we have to wear
I want to shake some hands and see the smiles we need to share
To wish each other all the best for the year that is to come
But all those good intentions for now have come undone

Strange Christmas this year
It’s pretty hard to talk about the season of good cheer
Still we hold on to our dreams and we hope and persevere

The wonder of the human touch the magic of a kiss
